You may find that you need to have a PDF copy on hand of one of your invoices or estimates, either for your own records or to send one of your clients. Invoice Simple gives you the ability to do this with any of your invoices or estimates, even before you send them to a client. Here’s how to do that.

How to save a PDF copy on the Mobile app

On the edit screen for the invoice or estimate, you’ll want to start by hitting the three dots in the upper right.

To save a PDF copy of the invoice to your device, hit Print. To send an invoice to a client, hit Share. Hitting Print will take you to the print preview screen. Look for the PDF button to initiate the PDF download to your device.

Hitting share will open a window that will allow you to choose the messaging app of your choice. After selecting the app, you will be directed to a compose screen with the invoice PDF automatically attached.

How to save a PDF copy on the Web App

On either the edit or preview screen for an invoice or estimate, hit the PDF button at the upper right

Doing so will automatically download a PDF copy of your invoice. The PDF will be saved to your browser’s default downloads folder.
