After you have successfully received payment from a client, you may find that you need to issue them a refund. You can do this personally from your PayPal console.
From the PayPal console, you can refund either a partial or full payment up to 180 days from the payment date. Please bear in mind that once a refund has been issued, it cannot be canceled.
Here’s how to issue a refund:
Log in to your PayPal Business account on the PayPal console
Go to Activity
Find the payment for which you need to issue a refund
Hit Issue Refund
Enter the amount you would like to refund
Double-check the amount you entered and hit Issue Refund
