Stripe charges a processing fee depending on the payment method your customers use with no hidden or additional fees. The fees for each payment method are as follows:
U.S. Customers:
Credit & Debit Cards: 3.49% + $0.49
Bank Transfer (ACH): 1% + $0.30, with a $15 fee cap
Digital Wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay): 3.49%
Stripe Link (vaulting for cards & bank accounts): 3.49% or 1% with a $15 fee cap
Stripe Instant Payouts: 1.5% per payout
Stripe Tap to Pay: 2.79% + $0.49 per transaction
Canadian Customers:
Credit & Debit Cards: 2.90% + C$0.30
Digital Wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay): 2.90% + C$0.30
Stripe Link (vaulting for cards): 2.90% + C$0.30
