How do my clients pay using ACH Bank transfers with PayPal? (U.S. Only)

Invoice Simple now gives you the ability to receive payments via ACH bank transfer. You clients can pay for services directly with funds from their account, no Credit Card needed!

Who is eligible for PayPal ACH payments?

Any PayPal enabled customers currently located in the U.S.

How long does it take for an ACH payment to reach my account?

PayPal ACH payments can take up to 7 business days to process.

Can my clients submit another payment on an invoice if an ACH payment is still pending?

No, they will need to wait until the ACH payment is completed.

What are the fees associated with PayPal ACH payments?

The fees for PayPal ACH payments are 1% plus $0.30. There is a 15$ cap for ACH fees.

Can I use the Add Fees feature to add ACH fees to the total?

Yes, but it's important to note that the Add Fees feature defaults to 3.48% plus $0.49. You'll want to use the slider to set the fee to 1% before confirming.

How do my clients submit ACH payments with PayPal?

On the Checkout screen on any of payments enabled invoice, have your client select Pay by Bank as the payment method


Hit Connect Bank Account and have your client select their bank from the list.


You your client will be shown a disclaimer. Once they read and agree to it, they will be prompted to login with their banking credentials.


Your client will be directed back to the invoice checkout where they will see a summary of the payment. If everything looks right, have them hit Agree and Pay Now.


Once the payment is completed, both you and the client will be notified by email. If there are any issues with the payment, you will both be notified as well.
