Who is eligible for Stripe Tap to Pay?
Stripe Tap to Pay is available to all Stripe users located in the U.S. who are using an iPhone XS or newer running iOS version 17.6 or higher or an NFC-enabled Android device running OS version Android 9 or higher.
How do I set up Stripe Tap to Pay?
In the app settings, hit Set Up Now in the Stripe section of your payment options.
Simply follow the prompts to complete the setup.
How do I accept payments with Tap to Pay?
Browse to the edit screen of the invoice you want to receive payment for, hit the paper plan icon in the lower right and select Tap to Pay.
A tap prompt will be displayed on your screen. Simply have your client tap their card directly on your screen. You will receive a message confirming payment in a few short seconds.
