You have several options for setting taxes for your invoices and estimates. These options can be changed at any time.
Setting Taxes in the Mobile App
In settings, hit Tax under the Invoice header.
You’ll have a few options to configure here. The Tax field will give you the option of choosing how the tax is applied (on the total, deducted or per item) You can also choose the rate in percentage for your tax and give the tax a name in the Label field, as well as whether or not the tax is inclusive. One thing to keep in mind is if you want to apply multiple types of taxes to your invoices you’ll need to choose Per Item in the Tax field.
Hitting back will automatically save your changes.
Setting Taxes in the Web App
In settings, scroll down to Tax.
You’ll see multiple options to configure. The Type field will give you the option of choosing how the tax is applied (on the total, deducted or per item) You can also choose the rate in percentage for your tax and give the tax a name in the Label field. One thing to keep in mind is if you want to apply multiple types of taxes to your invoices you’ll need to choose Per Item in the Tax field. Browsing away from this page will automatically save your changes.
